What is Probus?
Probus is Fun and Friendship in Retirement! Probus provides retirees with the opportunity to connect socially, which is so important in today’s world. Membership is open to anyone who is retired or semi-retired, so why not join the dozens of members in the Indooroopilly West Club!
Our Story
Indooroopilly West was formed in March 2014 and so is now over eight years old. The Club was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Brisbane Planetarium (now the Rotary Club of Paddington), which at the time envisaged the formation of a single club.

The club's first president was Bob Newton and under his guidance and enthusiastic committee members the club has grown and prospered. Our present venue since January 2024 is the Westside HQ at 3 Clewley St, Corinda.

As an incorporated organisation, the Club has a constitution and also operates under a set of standing resolutions.
